Protect Your Rights, Protect Your Job

Wage & Hour Violations

There are both State and Federal Laws that protect an employee's right to be paid for the work they perform.

If an employer fails to pay wages when they are due, the victim employee in certain circumstances, may recover double damages and attorney's fees.

Being labeled a salaried employee does not automatically mean that you are not entitled to be paid "overtime" for all hours worked over 40 in a week. The law presumes that every employee is entitled to overtime and articulates in great detail the exceptions to this presumption. In fact many people do not know that they are entitled to be paid overtime especially those employed in sales positions, in the banking, financial and real estate industries.
